Welcome to the Ebony Racquet Club Junior Program

Serving the youth in the community is what we are all about. We believe in diversity as a whole, inclusion, and accepting tennis players at every level of the sport.  We believe that our mission is shown through our coaches first and echoed by our athletes. This is shown on and off the court in competition, practice, resonating in homes and classrooms of the athletes we cultivate.

Our Mission

We exist to engage and empower youth with essential skills, tools and information to lead to productive and healthy lifestyles through participation in the sport of tennis.

Program Levels

We work with athletes ages 5-18. All ages and ranges of abilities we have created three levels your athlete can participate in. These levels are listed below:

  • L3 Development Team-(Beginners):  The development team is designed to give beginners an opportunity to learn basic skills and the process.
It is specific practice time set aside for them to learn.
=> L3 Development Team-(Beginners) players practice on Mondays and Thursdays, 4:00-6:00pm.
  • L2 Junior Team Tennis Teams- (Beginners-Intermediate-Advanced)
The junior team is the start of athletes pursuing the next level towards competition. They are taught
competitive skills and are filtered into team play.
=> L2 Development Team-(Beginners) players practice on Mondays and Thursdays, 4:00-6:00pm.
  • L1 Advanced Team-Tournament Level:
The advanced team is a focus group working toward high level competition. Training is specific to advanced conditioning, technical strokes, and mental focus.
